Reading
Small guided reading groups, silent reading, book talks, and interactive read-alouds allow students to think critically and share their ideas about text. Students will begin to use clues from the text, with what they know, to draw conclusions and make inferences. Also, they will begin to use parts of the text to help support their thinking as they read. They will learn to PROVE their thinking.
